KellyKlub Online Auctions
The KellyKlub Online Auction site is provided for KellyKlub members only. Please do not share this link with non-Klub members. (Registered users who are found not to be KK members will be removed.)
You may forward links to auction items to the KellyKlub by filling in KellyKlub@yahoogroups.com in the "email this auction to a friend" box.
There is no fee to list items for sale or to register to bid. Items listed should be limited to doll related items only. All dolls are welcome, but remember that the bidding pool is made up of KK members only.
Vulgarity and obscenities will not be tolerated and will result in the immediate ban of such users. -This includes auction descriptions as well as seller/buyer feedback. Prolonged abuse of the auction service will result in the removal of the Online Auction site.
If you have any problems, please email the auction administrator at auction@lilfriends.net. Please do not email Karin personally regarding problems you're having with the auction site.
This auction site has been created as a benefit to KellyKlub members. We will do our best to administer the site in a timely and professional manner. As with any other transaction between KellyKlub members, the Auction Administrator and List Owner are not responsible for transactions between members.
The online auction site is patterned as closely as possible after eBay. As you will see, it is not a carbon copy. A few points of explanation about some major differences between this online auction program and eBay:
1) Snipe bid protection - auctions will close 3 minutes after the last bid when there is a frenzy of last minute bids. The auction will not end as scheduled when the bidding is still going on.
2) No picture hosting on www.lilfriends.net. You may only list images that are remotely hosted on your own web server or a picture hosting web site.
3) Description block accepts HTML just like on eBay. Add backgrounds, music, scripts, etc.
4) The auto bidding program, or proxy bidding, behaves a bit differently than on eBay. If there is a reserve price on an auction you place a proxy bid on, your bid will automatically advance to your highest bid if you do not meet the reserve or the reserve price if your proxy is higher than that. No one has to bid in between to advance the auto bid to meet the reserve.

Following is the User Agreement between you and KellyKlub Online Auctions:
THE FOLLOWING IS THE USER AGREEMENT AS PRESENTED BY KellyKlub Online Auctions. YOU MUST AGREE TO THESE TERMS BEFORE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO LIST ITEMS OR BID. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THESE TERMS, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. BY CLICKING THE ACCEPTANCE BUTTON, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE TERMS OF THIS USER AGREEMENT.
Article 1. Eligibility of membership - This online auction site is only available to current members of the online group known as KellyKlub. Furthermore, this auction site is only available to people who are legally able to form binding contracts with the seller/buyer of an auction item. People who are under age 18 are not eligible for membership. If you do not meet these requirements, you are not eligible to use this online auction service.
Article 2. KellyKlub Online Auctions is only providing online auction services to KellyKlub members interested in selling and buying Kelly dolls and related merchandise via Internet auction. We do not have control over the items that are posted on this auction site and cannot guarantee the authenticity or quality of those products. We are not responsible for the actions of sellers taken before, during, or after the auction, including, but not limited to typographical errors, misprints, loss of merchandise or money. Use of this online auction site is at your own risk and all content is presented 'As-Is'.
Article 3. Bidding and Selling - As a user, you may bid and/or sell merchandise over KellyKlub Online Auctions. As a bidder, placing a bid is a BINDING CONTRACT between you and the seller. Bids cannot be retracted. Once you place a bid and subsequently win, you will be obligated to buy the product at the price you indicated as your bid. Placing a bid on this online auction site, winning, and then not paying for the item is illegal in most states and you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. As a seller, the items you place for auction must be real. Pre-sales are not acceptable. Once a bid has been placed for your item, you have entered into a binding contract with the potential buyer of the product. At the conclusion of the auction, you are obligated to sell to the highest bidder if the final bid is equal to or greater than your reserve price. If your reserve price was not met, you are not obligated in any way to sell this item. As a seller, you are not to bid on your own items. If you are found shill bidding your own auctions, all of your auctions will be deleted and your membership will be revoked.
Article 4. Posting Items - As a registered user you are welcome to post items up for sale in the KellyKlub Online Auctions. We do have restrictions on what items you may sell and what you may not sell. You may not sell illegal merchandise, including pirated software and music, firearms, adult videos, or anything that is affiliated with pornography, etc. You may sell Kelly dolls and all related merchandise. Items that are listed for auction are subject to review by the staff of KellyKlub Online Auctions and may be removed without prior notice if found to be in violation of this User Agreement.
Article 5. Charges - Listing an item for auction, bidding on an item, and registering are free on this site. Do not abuse this privilege!
Article 6. Privacy - We gather your contact information so that other people will have it on hand when they win your auction or when you win their auction. Personal information is NOT sold or otherwise disclosed without your permission. Personal information sent to a registered user regarding a product bought or sold is not to be used for any other purpose except for communicating regarding that auction item.
Article 7. Warranty - KellyKlub Online Auctions provides this online auction web site 'as-is' without warranty. KellyKlub Online Auctions is not liable for any damages resulting from your visit to the site.
