The Masquerade dolls changed between the first and second releases.
The 2nd release in 2007 is easily recognized by the ponytail logo on the boxes and a lot more glitter on the gowns. The 2006 earlier version has a gold crown logo on the box.
The 2nd release dolls hold a cardboard mask. The face paint is similar, but there are slight differences between the versions.
The gowns on the 2nd release match exactly in style, print and glittery fabric to Princess Barbie dolls being released at the same time.
The Spinning Ballerina twosomes have a special stand with a wheeled base that spins the dolls when rolled on the floor. There are 3 different ballerina pairs.
The Sunflower Park dolls are the first appearance of the no-neck dolls.
The Picnic Friends foursome came in two variations. In version 1 Kelly wears a blue top with pink ruffles. In version 2 Kelly wears a yellow top with yellow ruffles.
In version 1 Tommy wears camoflage pants. In version 2 he wears pants with painted hands on them.
The brunette girl (Miranda?Kayla?) wears a pink striped shirt in version 1 and a blue striped shirt in version 2.
The fourth girl in version one is a redhead, whereas she is an AA doll in version 2.
My Day Kelly features an 8" tall doll with 3 interchangeable heads.
